Creative decisions only create value when everyone shares the same reality: DMIx was founded to eliminate misunderstandings between brands and suppliers. Not by forcing better communication, but by creating a shared product reality that everyone can rely on.

The problem was never a lack of talent. It was a lack of shared understanding.

We experienced first-hand how value creation in the fashion and textile industry breaks down when brands and suppliers technically communicate, but do not truly understand each other. Value creation breaks when creative intent gets lost in translation at every handover.

The consequences: Misunderstandings. Endless sampling loops. Rising costs. Delays across the entire supply chain. Especially where color, material and appearance are involved.

Unity doesn’t come from better words. It comes from shared reality.

We didn’t want to build another communication tool. We wanted to create unity as the common basis where brands and suppliers see, measure and approve the same reality.
